As a Parent Liaison, Lavinia is available to answer all questions from students and parents. Taking all information into consideration she will make sure each student is scheduled for the appropriate tutoring sessions, diagnostic tests and all other services needed for the student to optimize their potential. Lavinia also serves as LGC’s liaison with Stevenson High School’s Stevenson to College (S2C) program.

Lavinia is also a High School and College Planning Consultant, guiding families through the high school and college planning process. She advises families as they plan high school courses and extracurriculars, assists with understanding important timelines, and helps them navigate the college search and selection process. Lavinia holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters in School Counseling. In her position as a Career Advisor for District 214 she was in charge of administering career 

interest inventories to students and helping them pick classes consistent with the student’s results and future career interest. She has attended many college and career counseling workshops and has experience in career counseling. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Lavinia lives in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago with her two college-aged children, Martina and Filippo, as well as Snoopy The Bernedoodle.
