Nick Zazove, B.A.
Math and Science Tutor
Nick Zazove graduated from Lake Forest College with two B.A. degrees in Music and History. His studies focused on piano, music production & theory, the nature of propaganda, and post-Industrial Revolution global affairs. He participated in the Richter Scholar Program, which focused on the history and development of regional languages in Southern Africa through the era of Colonialism.
He currently works as a professional musician and sound engineer with clients from across the country. He is a member of the Haven Volume art collective located in the Bronzeville area in Chicago. He has mentorship experience as a tennis coach training high-level players, as well as a musician providing guidance to young musicians attempting to find their footing in the music industry.
Nick’s personal interests include hiking, reading, watching & making films, and playing video games. He collects a variety of music records from different genres and cultures. Nick has been composing and producing his own songs since he was a teenager. He is a die-hard fan of the Manga series Hunter x Hunter. Some of his favorite films include Ikiru, Children of Men, City of God, and House of Flying Daggers. Some of his favorite musical artists include DJ Shadow, David Bowie, Aphex Twin, and Outkast.
