With over twelve years of experience advising families about the college admissions process, Jennifer Lund provides structured and timely guidance through all parts of the journey.

As the Educational Consultant and Parent Liaison for the Barrington office, Jennifer assists in preparing and planning for standardized testing, selecting and scheduling college
consulting services, arranging college essay services and guiding students through the common application platform elements. Jennifer works closely with students to ensure they maximize their potential as they navigate the path to college.
 
After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from University of Illinois in
Champaign Urbana, Jennifer worked for many years as a Research and Development Scientist at Abbott Laboratories. She pivoted her interest to education and advocacy during the time she spent as a stay-at-home mom to her special-needs son, eventually serving as a school board member for Libertyville District 70 schools. Jennifer developed her college admissions expertise as a member of Libertyville High School’s College/Career Resource Center team.

Jennifer is a member of the Independent Counselors Educational Association (IECA). She serves as LGC’s liaison with Barrington High School’s Educational Foundation. Jennifer especially enjoys leading students through the scholarship application process and developing personalized, curated scholarship lists for students. Jennifer resides in Libertyville with her husband. Her son recently graduated from Lake Forest College and her daughter attends Washington University in St. Louis.
