Janet Chen is a Math tutor in our Barrington office. After graduating from Barrington High School, Janet earned a Bachelor of Science in social policy from Northwestern University and later a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Since high school, she has enjoyed tutoring students and helping them realize their full potential.

 

Janet has extensive experience conducting and managing research studies and disseminating data and insights through national publications and convenings. Her research has been presented to Congress and the secretary of education to inform student aid policy and the National Science Foundation to advance U.S. STEM education.

 

Janet grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and is glad to return to the area after many years in Washington D.C. In her free time, she likes to spend time with family, take fitness classes, and learn new things.
