Bill Sullivan tutors students on the English and Reading sections of the ACT and SAT. His 23 years of teaching experience includes eight years of one-to-one tutoring in high school literacy centers, where he learned the value of individualized instruction that begins with an understanding of the whole student. He taught English at Warren Township High School and Niles North High School for 15 years before assuming his current role teaching ELA at a middle school in Ingleside.

Bill earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his Masters in Education from DePaul University. He has dedicated his professional life to creating engaging, equitable spaces in which students feel safe enough to take intellectual risks. He is the father of three teenagers, with whom he spends as much time as possible, and he enjoys writing, reading, and fitness.
